- Fill the pool if needed
- Blow or rinse debris from deck
- Skim the surface of debris
- Empty all skimmer baskets
- Vacuum or leaf-vacuum and brush pool
- Empty the pump strainer basket
- Backwash the filter or clean the cartridges when necessary
- Clean the tile and skimmer sump when necessary
- Test the water and balance the chemicals (chemicals included)
- Skim the surface of debris again
- Check all the mechanical equipment
- Turn off the fill water
- Sign comment card with date and time
- Close the gate
- Alert client, police, fire to anything unusual
